Description
The second in a series of pieces named after the location
where the designer happened upon the carving motif, the
Fatehpur lamp is named for the great Masjid of Fatehpur,
India. The pattern is altered to create a distorted gradient of
shapes from top to bottom. The piece is carved from solid
Beech wood. A first run of three lamps was commissioned
for the British ambassador’s residence in Lebanon.
