Harmonic
Series: Side Table
Harmonic Table take the base of the Amoeba design and overlay a 12-pointed star pattern. Using Walnut and Sadaf for the star the design is based on a mathematical harmonic growth pattern. The star pattern produced is then distorted, causing one side to diminish in size so that the sadaf and walnut elements approach near invisibility. The asymmetry is balanced once the two are placed in an overlapped configuration.

Wave Table
Series: Center Table
Wave Table is a modern interpretation of the traditional craft of in-layed sadaf (mother of pearl). Based on a slab of beech wood and legs made of walnut, the table sits as a feast for the eyes. A unique feature of the fabrication process is that each individual piece is made with an original sadaf in-lay pattern. Therefore each owner of a wave table has a design unique to them and no one else.

Dissolve
Series: Live Edge Dining
Live-edge wood is cut straight through a large tree from side to side, hence carrying with it the rough texture of the tree edge on both sides of the trunk. Lina’s table was assembled from a large slab of Brazilian Tiger wood. As is the case with all our live-edge tables, the piece was custom designed with a thousand unique mother-of-pearl diamond-shaped inlays. The table has boldly designed steel legs and was made with a set of matching dining chairs. The combination of pattern, wood, and legs are all specifically designed for each client.

Cluster
Series: Live Edge Dining
Custom designed and fabricated, Sahar’s table is a live-edge dining-table made from Iroko wood and steel. Mother-of-pearl (Sadaf), masterfully inlaid by Youssef Ghassoub, follows a unique pentagonal pattern designed by Ahmad Khouja, and allows for a feast for the eyes that seems at once both chaotic and ordered. The legs are another unique feature, made from bent sheet steel and following a fluid form that is perceived differently depending on the viewer’s vantage point.

Radial Calligraphy
Series: Live Edge Center
The Calligraphy Table, as much of DAMJ’s work, is a custom piece made to order. The intention was to use the client’s preferred phrase as the feature for their living room coffee table. The arabic phrase was drawn by a traditional calligrapher in a circular arrangement so as to complement the radial live-edge Iroko slab chosen by the client. The lettering is carved in Oak and inset using a reverse-carve of the slab to achieve a perfect hand-in-glove fit. The table legs are made from steel rods in a triangulated pentagonal arrangement.

Andalos
Series: Side Table
Made from layers of Iroko and Walnut wood, the Andalos Tables feature a play of pattern and form each from a different view. The pattern from the top view is a reveal of all the wood layers that comprise the piece. Each Andalos side table is composed of 4 quarters that are packed with wood layers and then turned by giant lathe and carefully joined together. The result of the wood turning process is an elegant arched set of legs that transition to the juxtaposing square top.
