Horshna Learning Center

A proposal done for Horshna, a forest-schooling initiative operating in Baabda forest and Horsh Beirut.The design focuses on a minimal intervention that provides a flexible space for outdoor and indoor learning spaces.The massing plays with the symmetry of the gable roof ridge to accentuate the difference in scale of the interior and exterior spaces as well as adapting to shading needs. Construction is timber based with concrete footings for the structure.
